Lifeskills had the amazing opportunity to be a part of an event for The Law Enforcement Torch Run, which coincided with this year’s International Day of People with Disability.
The event was held at Mernda Central College, where police officers, Lifeskills participants, and students from Mernda Central College secured the record for the longest human chain while patting each other on the back for 30 continuous seconds.
The event was adjudicated by an official from the Australian Book of Records, who presented an official certificate marking the achievement.
Participants were then treated to lunch at Mernda Police Station to celebrate the day.
Congratulations to all of the record holders involved, and thank you to Victoria Polie and Mernda Central College.
