Latrobe Lifeskills is committed to providing inclusive and person-centred support for people with disability aged 18 years and over. The safety of our Participants and Staff is our highest priority.
We work within the NDIS’ scope as a Registered Provider and maintain staffing ratios to ensure all services are delivered safely and effectively.
We individually review each Participant’s support needs to determine whether our services, Programs of Support, and environment can meet those needs while maintaining a safe environment for all new and existing Participants and Staff.
Our Programs of Support are designed for Participants who can engage safely in a group-based environment under staffing ratios of between 1:2 to 1:5.
Our Programs focus on group-based programs delivered in a dynamic on-campus location. Participants requiring intensive 1:1 behaviour support, or specialist intervention may need to access specialised providers with higher support capacity as such support exceeds our capacity.
We would welcome confidentially discussing your needs with us so that we can assess whether our programs are right for you or whether there are any adjustments that we can accommodate to facilitate your participation.
We assess all new Expressions of Interest to ensure the Program can be delivered safely and appropriately for each individual.
To attend Lifeskills, you will need an NDIS plan with sufficient funding for group activities.
Entry is dependent on the availability of resources to meet the interests, needs and wishes of those choosing to attend Lifeskills.
